Biography of Peggy Fleming


Peggy Fleming is an American figure skater, was born in San Jose, California. Peggy Fleming began skating at the age of 9 years. After the outstanding performance of the numbers, a young, novice figure skater became the champion of the United States. This title was kept from 1964 to 1968.

In 1968, the athlete became the Olympic champion. The title of world champion Peggy Fleming received three times: in 1966, 1967, 1968. In 1968 she began to professionally engage in figure skating. But already in 1976 she left the sport. Her style of riding is known not only thanks to the magnificent technical performance, but also the extraordinary feeling of music and dance.
