Biography of Lyudmila Gurchenko


Lyudmila Markovna Gurchenko – actress of cinema, theater of the USSR and Russia, singer, People’s Artist of the USSR.

Gurchenko was born on November 12, 1935 in Kharkov. After graduation in the biography of Lyudmila Gurchenko, a transfer to Moscow took place. There she soon entered the VGIK. Even during the training she played the first role in the movie – in the film “The Road of Truth”.

But the huge success was brought not by this, but the following film – “Carnival Night”, during the filming of which the young actress continued her studies. In the year graduating from the institute, she starred in the film “Girl with a Guitar”. The ability to enter the roles well, perform even tragic, difficult scenes contributed to a further career in Gurchenko’s biography.

Some of her best films were: “Twenty Days Without War”, “Sibiriada”, “Five Evenings”, “Station for Two”, “Love and Doves”. In total for her biography Lyudmila Gurchenko starred in 85 films.

In addition to acting, which, of course, she devoted herself to herself, Gurchenko also wrote books, performed songs. She published three books. The last book of Gurchenko “Lusia, stop!” was published in 2003. The unfading actress married three times: for Boris Andronikashvili, Joseph Kobzon, Sergei Senin. In 1983, in the biography of Gurchenko were received the title of People’s Artist and best actress of the USSR.
