An interesting story from a life work

This story happened to me back in elementary school. I often went home with my classmates, because I lived very close to school. And this day was no exception.
I was walking with a boy named Artem. It was autumn, but the puddles were already freezing. Artem has always been very curious and at the same time impatient. Therefore, on one of the puddles he wanted to check the strength of the ice. I told him not to do it, but the girl did not want to listen to the girl at all.
Artem carefully walked on the ice, almost reached the middle of the puddle and fell. By the way, the puddle was not small, it somehow resembled a pond. Therefore it is not surprising that Artyom did not just stand in a puddle, he fell into her knee. From offense, he began to yell, and began to do it louder when he decided to get out. The thing is that under the puddles was the land, and therefore under the water his feet began to stiffen.
I could not save my friend – I felt the hysteria of

my classmate and did not hesitate with help. First in the course went the sticks and branches, but they did not save. Then I decided to go to Artem on the ice and pull him by the hand. No wonder I dived in a puddle with him. Then another hour we got out of the water captivity, after which we ran home with all our might.
At home, my grandfather was waiting for me. He was ready to scold me for walking for too long after the lessons. But when my grandfather saw me in the water and mud to the waist, he froze for a moment. My grandfather looked at me for a long time, he clearly was confused. Then I went to call my neighbors to work for my mother, home phones at that time were not at all, not speaking about mobile. Mom told him that I need to take off my clothes on the doorstep and go to the bathroom to wash off.
Of course, my parents scolded me in the evening. But they did not punish me, only laughed at my story. School skirt was not washed, they had to buy a new one. In the family, we still remember this adventure and laugh at it, and still love to tell friends with schoolchildren.
